My Point of View on 9/11

We all know that today is the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. When I was little I remember watching Home Alone and thinking, “Where is the security? Why are they running through and airport? Why won’t my brother stop poking me? Why haven’t they checked their bags?” Well guess what little children? They didn’t have that back in the olden days otherwise known as the 90’s. You didn’t have to do all that crap that most of the time makes

A Hunger Games Sneak Peek at MTV’s 2011 Video Music Awards! Yippee!

First of all, I don’t get why they are called the Video Music Awards. Did somebody working for MTV type it backwards and had a rough day and the last thing they wanted to do was change it? That would make sense because when I’m at school and I’m way more tired then usual (I wake up at six in the morning people) and then I misspell something I am too lazy to change it. Anyway, some time during the

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark Trailer Makes Me Want to go Huddle in a Corner and Cry

I think the title said it all. This looks creepy. Maybe it’s because the little creatures look like messed up bats or maybe because they speak freaking I have no idea except for the fact that this, sir, is scary crap. I mean if you watch this and say it is not scary you have issues my friend.  Don’t be Afraid of the Dark is about a girl named Sally who goes to live with her dad, Alex, and his girlfriend, Kim.

Review: The Help (A+) The Smurfs Don’t got Nothing on it!

This week I went and stayed at my Aunt Kathy’s for three days and we went and saw The Help. This hands down is the best movie this year. Emma Stone (Easy A) brings to life the journalist Eugenia Skeeter. Skeeter is a funny, sweet girl who wants to be a famous writer. When she gets a job at a local newspaper she is assigned to write a question and answer column for the help. She has no idea how to

Man of Steel Postponed is Horse Poopy

So you know how everybody was pooping there pants over how the new Superman movie Man of Steel  was going to come out next year in December? Well bring out the tissues because they decided to postpone it for six months. I know it’s pathetic and I’m pretty sure they will come out with some explanation why, but I already put it on my calendar in pen. How am I supposed to get that out? Huh Hollywood? Even if I scratch

Happy Birthday Father (aka Andy)!

Happy Birthday Father! I love you so much! I just want everybody to know my dad is freaking awesome and all the other girls of the world should be very, very jealous. See that picture over there? That was taken before my dad and I went to my first Fall Out Boy concert. Of course you are going to look at me and see how cute and adorable I was. What am I saying? I still am adorable. Anyway, but

Emma’s Movie Reviews: Thor (A+)

When I saw the commercials for Thor I wasn’t jumping out of my seat and I didn’t start jumping up and down clapping (I’m to cool for that) because I am not a big fan of super heroes. When I went and saw that movie I was in love with it. It was funny, it had romance, it had action, and it had a super hot guy in it. What wasn’t to like? Thor was so good I went and saw it

Is No Madge in the Hunger Games Movie a Surprise?

Everybody was happy when they got to the casting of Haymitch and hadn’t screwed anything up. Well guess what? There will be no Madge in The Hunger Games movie. Madge is the mayor’s daughter and is one of Katniss’ friends. Madge visits Katniss after the reaping and gives her the iconic mockingjay pin. Well apparently that won’t happen. I am not crushed by this, but I am excited to see how Katniss gets the pin. So here is my question for

The Hunger Games Casting is Going too Quick for me to Type

I don’t think they could go any faster with the casting here. It’s just cast, cast, cast and oh look at that more casting. The biggest holy-poop-what-were-they-thinking moment I had was when I found out they cast Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones) as Caesar Flickerman, the interview dude for the Hunger Games. Then Wes Bentley (Jonah Hex) was cast as Seneca Crane. Finally, they cast the tributes for Districts 5, 6, 7,8, and 9. Yes that does mean Foxface has been cast. Jackie Emerson is

Hunger Games Movie Finds Prim, Glimmer and Marvel

I have never ever been this excited for a movie. The Hunger Games Movie is going to be freaking awesome and now we are even closer to getting the casting part done. Today, Lionsgate cast Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen and Elizabeth Banks is being considered to play Effie Trinket. Primrose (Prim) is Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) little sister who, at the reaping in District 12, was originally picked to be in the 74th Hunger Games, but Katniss volunteered to go
