According to “The Lord of the Rings” nerds at TheOneRing.net, some dude (probably a D&D champ) named Theodred was tuning into BBC radio and heard “The Hobbit” director Guillermo del Toro serve up some casting nuggets regarding Hugo Weaving (Elrond), Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Andy Serkis (Gollumn). It seems the three thesps will reprise their LOTR roles in the “The Hobbit,” due in theaters sometime after Jesus returns to smite the Earth.
You can listen to the BBC interview by following this link. But I think your time would be better served by turning your speakers up, loosening up and jamming to Europe’s #1 club hit, “The Hobbits are Going to Isengard.”
