Foxx, DiCaprio and Waltz Look Like Oscar Triple Threat in New Django Unchained Trailer

If you’ve seen any of Quentin Tarantino’s movies – Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill (Vol 1 &2) and Inglorious Basterds – then you know when you plant your butt in front of the big screen, you’re in for a methodical celebration of cinema and creativity, punctuated by crisp storytelling and marvelous dialogue. Tarantino is a master, easily one of the greatest working directors today (and probably one of the greatest of all-time), and after tackling the genres of crime, Kung-Fu and war, he now moves to the Western (and probably a Spaghetti Western at that).

Based on the second trailer for Django Unchained, I’d say he’s got another looming round of Oscar nominations to celebrate. The cast is stacked, as always, and it’s easy, based off the trailer, to think Jamie Foxx (Horrible Bosses), Christoph Waltz (Carnage) and Leonardo DiCaprio (J.Edgar) could all see their names up for consideration in the best acting categories.

Check out the second trailer for Django Unchained below and let me know your thoughts? What’s your favorite Tarantino film?
