Remember how I said I was excited for WONDER WOMAN and how DC might assuage their critically bludgeoned movie loins via the Gal Gadot blockbuster coming in June 2017? Yeah, well, I totally forgot about THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE due in theaters February 2017.

With how popular Will Arnett’s (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT) Batman character was in THE LEGO MOVIE (2014) and the other voice talent cast (Michael Cera, Zach Galifinakas, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Mariah Carey and Jenny Slate), I have a hard time believing this will receive the kind of fierce uppercuts the majority of critics gave MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and SUICIDE SQUAD.

And come on? Ralph Fiennes might have the best Alfred Pennyworth voice in the history of Alfred Pennyworth actors. Sorry, Michael Caine. Not sorry, Jeremy Irons.
