I don’t think they could go any faster with the casting here. It’s just cast, cast, cast and oh look at that more casting. The biggest holy-poop-what-were-they-thinking moment I had was when I found out they cast Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones) as Caesar Flickerman, the interview dude for the Hunger Games. Then Wes Bentley (Jonah Hex) was cast as Seneca Crane. Finally, they cast the tributes for Districts 5, 6, 7,8, and 9. Yes that does mean Foxface has been cast. Jackie Emerson is Foxface. I love how they have all the little parts done, but then they still haven’t cast the bigger parts like Haymitch, Cinna and President Snow. I am clueless on all of those.

What do you guys think? I am so puzzled at this point. This is because not one person I thought was going to be in The Hunger Games is in it. Yes I am very bitter about that. Sure I love all of the choices that Lionsgate has made, but I don’t like it when I’m wrong. Do any of us? I can answer that question, no. Anyway back to the movie. I really like these choices. I have seen Tucci act so I am more confident about him. He can go from creep to fashion designer. Most of the people who are playing the tributes are stunt doubles or have played small parts in movies. I think it will be quite an interesting experience for all of us to watch these newbies act and to watch them play the characters we know and love (TEAM PEETA) on the big screen. Oh, I can’t freaking wait. March 2012 better come SOON!
