AMERICAN SNIPER Gets a Trailer and I Get Goosebumps

Bradley Cooper is one of the most talented actors working today. Period. He’s was marvelous in SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, amazing in AMERICAN HUSTLE and 100% hilarious as Rocket the Raccoon in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Now he’s teamed with Clint Eastwood to bring the story of Chris Kyle – from his autobiography, AMERICAN SNIPER – to the big screen. If you remember, Kyle died in February of 2013, shot to death at a gun range by a friend suffer from post

The Wolf Pack Saga Whimpers to a Close with THE HANGOVER PART III

GRADE: D Remember back in 2009 when audiences were abuzz about what tigers dreamed of, whether the said striped jungle cats preferred pepper over cinnamon, and exactly who was the tiny, naked violent Asian man springing from the Wolf Pack’s Mercedes? Cast your mind to 2011, when we wondered if this was a magic show, and where a chubby, bearded dude purchased his awesome golden lab t-shirt and how that and a traditional Chinese hat seem to be the perfect apparel

The Silver Linings Playbook Trailer Makes Me Smile

I love Bradley Cooper (The Words) and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games), but what sold me on this movie (aside from the sweet trailer music by The Lumineers “Ho Hey”), was this line from Bradley Cooper’s character, Pat Solitano, “This is what I believe to be true: You have to do everything you can, and if you stay positive you have a shot at a silver lining.” How awesome is that statment? Isn’t that what everyone hopes and dreams about?

New Trailer for The Hangover: Part II has me Pining for May 26!

You know what makes the first full-length trailer for The Hangover: Part II so funny? Two things: First, I don’t ever not laugh when Zach Galifianakis’ character, Alan, says, “When a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it’s funny in any language.” And second, the trailer, which you can watch after the jump, was recently pulled from theaters because of said quote and said scene referencing oral sex from a primate. That’s right, folks. Snuggle up and smell the debauchery at Andy

Movie Review: Limitless (B)

I hate Bradley Cooper. I really do. Why, you might ask? Oh, I won’t beat around the bush at all. I hate him because he’s a handsome bastard and makes all the ladies go gaga. I’m 36, rock the love handles and my hair is turning grey, while Mr. Cooper is 36, svelte, has a hairdo that reminds Pat Riley of the golden years, and is one of only a handful of men who can routinely not shave and still look

The Hangover II Trailer is a Big Fat Teasing Trailer Tramp

We’ve known The Hangover: Part II has been heading to theaters this Memorial Day (May 26, 2011) since Todd Phillips’ The Hangover was a financial and critical success in 2009, but we haven’t, other than casting, been given much and this teaser trailer continues in the same fashion. We know the movie is set in Thailand and it appears Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) are looking for their long lost pal, Doug (Justin Bartha), yet

Movie Review: The A-Team (A)

Every autumn for the last four years, Dan and I, along with our pal Nick, head up to Garden City, Utah – home of Utah’s Bear Lake – and spend a weekend inhaling everything and anything bad for your body, including Doritos, cinnamon rolls, bacon, M&Ms, Swedish fish, soda, Oreos, Nutter Butters, hamburgers, fries, pizza and anything else in sight that’s chocked full of sugar. This three day culinary orgy is affectionately called “Mankend” and is punctuated by an afternoon

The A-Team Movie Review (Dan’s Take) B+

With childhood nostalgia anchored firmly in the 80s, I’m a prime target for Hollywood’s recent nostalgia sweep. Thanks to a raging ego, contrarianism and a cold black heart however, I’m a hard sell– or like to think I am. I tend to like 80s nostalgia planted firmly in the 80s- big hair, fluffy innocence, original charm and all. And while we here at AATM are never against a remake/reboot, oftentimes they’re thin rehashes that rely on name brand only and

New A-Team Trailer and Poster Make Me Giddy for June 11

I didn’t watch The A-Team too much when I was a kid, but I knew the players – Face, B.A., Hannibal and Murdock. In fact, I think I actually had a B.A. Baracus action figure. My point is this – even though I enjoy Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel, The A-Team movie wasn’t on my must-see list for 2010 summer movies. However, after watching the full-length trailer below, I am now circling June 11. The A-Team
