Prometheus Teaser Trailer Promises Summer Sci-Fi Scares!

I love me some Ridley Scott, but I must confess, I haven’t been too enamored with The Brother-of Tony’s recent forays into le cinema. Robin Hood? Seemed promising, but didn’t quite hit the ol’ bullseye, despite having Russell Crowe (The Next Three Days) and Cate Blanchett (Hanna), and don’t get me started on Body of Lies  or A Good Year. However, my opinion might not be so relevant, considering my favorite Ridley Scott movies are Blackhawk Down and The Kingdom

Haywire Trailer Actually Makes Me Excited for JANUARY! WTF?!

January in Utah is expressed best with two small words: pure crap. This hellish winter month is adorned with sub-zero temperatures, freak snowstorms that turn Utah drivers into Idaho drivers, and enough inversion and putrid air to give anyone stepping outside the black lung. Yeah. That’s right. I hate January in Utah. X-Men: The Last Stand (directed by that tool, Brett Ratner) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine were nothing

Centurion Trailer Looks Sword and Sandals-riffic

Neil Marshall’s a guy whose name most people won’t recognize by name, but by work. The guy’s responsible for the fantastically creepy and claustrophobic The Descent and Dog Soldiers (the good werewolf movie no one’s seen). Sure, he’s also guilty of spawning the craptastic Doomsday, but we’ll consider that dump-fest a pass for keeping his sword sharp. Apparently keen to revisit the middle-aged themes weirdly introduced int he second half of Doomsday, Marshall’s next project is the dramatic-licensed Centurion. Based
