The Change-Up Trailer Made Me Spit Out the Precious

And by the precious, I mean my 16 ounce sugar-free Red Bull. Maybe you don’t like it, but it is precious…to…me. I digress. The Change-Up, sliding into theaters on August 5, 2011, looks like Freaky Friday got in a head-on collision with a porno movie, and for a guy like me, who loves Urban Dictionary.com, this movie looks like pure win. Be forewarned though, the trailer below is of the redband variety, which means your boss might not appreciate words

Your Highness Redband Trailer is Hilarious (Oh, and Natalie Portman is HOT!)

I’m not sure I can find the right words to describe how hard I laughed through this redband (read: NSFW) trailer for the upcoming comedy, Your Highness, directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express). It stars James Franco (127 Hours) and Danny McBride (Due Date) as two brothers who set out on a quest to save Franco’s girlfriend, played by Zooey Deschanel (Yes Man), from an evil wizard, played by Justin Theroux, who is probably better known for writing Iron

Love and Other Drugs Redband Trailer Shows Viagra Moment

I am an unabashed hater of Jake Gyllenhaal. Maybe it’s his good looks and winning personality, but I don’t think he’s the Hollywood star and first-class actor the media often portrays him as. I liked him in October Sky, before  his pubes sprouted and his voice changed, and I thought he did a decent job in David Fincher’s Zodiac. But that’s about it. He was overrated in Brokeback Mountain and I thought he was stunningly ridiculous in Prince of Persia:

Trailer Tuesday: Due Date Redband Edition

Despite almost being on Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man 2) and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) overload, I’m beginning to shed my initial reluctance to director Todd Phillips’ new comedy, Due Date. After the second full-length trailer and this new redband preview, I have to admit, this looks hilarious. Still, I think Due Date probably will fare better for Downey Jr. than it will for Galifianakis. Why? Look at Downey Jr.’s resume. The guy has talent and range; he can star

Predators Redband Trailer Suggest Oodles of Gore and Lots of Lame

Predators was a movie I was looking forward to watching this July, but somewhere between the vagina-mouthed baddies releasing a heard of the oily dogs from Avatar – this time juiced with rabies and clam cave maws – and the whole The Most Dangerous Game: Alien Style story foundation has my enthusiasm meter scraping rock bottom. Will I see it? You bet your juicy booty I will. This could be good, so I’ll give it a shot, but considering Robert

Funny People Redband Trailer is Not So Red

“Funny People,” the third film from director Judd Apatow (“The 40 Year-Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up”), is one movie I’ve been anticipating since the first trailer hit the web several months back. The movie releases on July 31 and this evening I came across the just-released redband trailer – it sat there staring at me in all its R-rated goodness, like the Playboy magazine you find when you’re a kid and know, without a doubt, you should not be looking

Brüno MeinSpace Site and Redband Trailer

You’d have to be hibernating in a dank, drippy cave for the last three years to not know about the movie “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” and it’s hilarious star, Sacha Baron Cohen. Cohen is also famous for his characters Ali G and Brüno, the latter of which is coming to the big screen this summer (July 9, 2009) in what is sure to be another controversial and crude film. I can’t wait!
