Predator & Dune Re-Dubs are Pure Gold

Once again I have to thank AATM reader, Danny, for bringing this Predator re-dubbing to my attention. I laughed my ass off through both this and the embedded Dune re-dub. Something about high-pitched, squeaky voices and talk of poop and balls makes me giggle. It also reminds me of the sheer pleasure that is Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. A bit of trivia, the guys behind these re-dubs are from Sequential Pictures, the makers of this hilarious Star Wars Episode

New Predators Trailer

Last week, fan pants were soiled when a behind the scenes teaser for Predators upstaged SXSW and quickly made its way to AATM. Not a week later, the teaser trailer hits, showing more scenes of running, sweating and nervous glancing. For its part, the trailer is pretty effective — even more so if you haven’t seen the teaser– but I’m not on board. Still. Robert Rodriguez, who’s not directing but has his fingerprints all over the project, isn’t a guy

Avatar on Blu-ray and DVD April 22!

If you were of the 12 people in America who didn’t see Avatar in theaters and didn’t help fill James Cameron’s wallet with $732 million, then you can pre-order your DVD or Blu-ray copy of Avatar today from Amazon.com. It was announced yesterday the all-time highest grossing domestic and worldwide movie will hit stores on April 22 – which, by no coincidence, is Earth Day. The Hobbit Starts Filming June 2010

I think you’d be hard pressed to find a living, breathing soul who doesn’t have a hankering for more Lord of the Rings movie goodness. Peter Jackson’s trilogy is easily one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of all-time. Somehow Mr. Jackson was able to sift through all the D&D nerd crap and make three films that appeased both the Tolkien fanatics and Joe Plumber. Well, folks longing for more LOTR goodness can inch that much closer to giddiness as we

Trailer Tuesday: Repo Men Red Band Director’s Cut Trailer

I’ll be honest, I had zero desire to see Repo Men early on its marketing, but after some slick TV spots and this director’s cut red band trailer, my curiosity is certainly piqued and I’m actually looking forward to attending the screening this evening. Plus, the cast – Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes), Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), Liev Schrieber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Alice Braga (Blindness) – isn’t what I would call the C-list variety. These are bona

New Moon Available this Weekend = Twihard Depends Moment

It’s almost been four months since Glittery Ed and Dour-Faced Bella were seen together with Jacob “The Real Wolfman” Black on the big screen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is almost equally far off. But don’t fret, Twihards. You can hop online right now, or head to your local DVD store this Friday night, and pick up your copy of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. If you are looking to purchase

You Ever Seen a Grown Man Naked? RIP Peter Graves.

I usually don’t throw up RIP posts for actors and actresses who have died, but I have to make an exception for Peter Graves, the star of television’s Mission: Impossible and possibly one of the greatest and most recognizable voices of all-time. Mr. Graves died yesterday afternoon at his home from natural causes (sounds like he had a heart attack). He was 83 years old. Of course, I remember Peter Graves from his role in 1980’s Airplane!, where he played
