The 2018 Mister Rogers documentary WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR was a lump-in-the-throat, weep-like-a-baby masterpiece that got shafted at the Academy Awards, but you know Tom Hanks playing Fred Rogers is going to be an awards darling. Based on what the trailer has to offer, I’d say this looks promising and will probably require many a Kleenex. Am I the only one who things Hanks sounds like he’s doing a mashup of Hannibal Lecter and Forrest Gump for Mister Rogers’ voice?

Has it really been ten friggin’ years since ZOMBIELAND was in theaters? A lot has changed in ten years. Emma Stone is quite the accomplished actress, Eisenberg is doing his best to show us he wasn’t acting in SOCIAL NETWORK and Woody Harrelson is just Woody Harrelson. Truth-be-told, I wasn’t especially hyped for a ZOMBIELAND sequel, but this trailer makes me think twice. This actually might be a win.
