The Hunger Games Casting is Going too Quick for me to Type

I don’t think they could go any faster with the casting here. It’s just cast, cast, cast and oh look at that more casting. The biggest holy-poop-what-were-they-thinking moment I had was when I found out they cast Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones) as Caesar Flickerman, the interview dude for the Hunger Games. Then Wes Bentley (Jonah Hex) was cast as Seneca Crane. Finally, they cast the tributes for Districts 5, 6, 7,8, and 9. Yes that does mean Foxface has been cast. Jackie Emerson is

Middle Earth is back!

Any fans of Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit who haven’t  “Liked” Peter Jacksons facebook page should stop reading this immidiately and “like” Peter Jackson (Jackson’s Facebook Page.) Jackson recently released a 10 minute behind-the-scenes video on the set of The Hobbit, and has continued to include fans like no other director I have seen. The Hobbit video gave me chills, seeing Middle Earth completely rebuilt reminded me how much I loved the original three films. In the video there are great

The Hunger Games movie continues to fill the roles for the film version of Suzanne Collins bestselling young-adult novel of the same name. Kristen Stewart: ‘I Wanted to Puke Up Blood’

Entertainment Weekly has the latest compelling information about the upcoming release of the Nth edition of the Twilight series, Breaking Wind Dawn. In the expose, the actress of … one … facial expression laments the fact that Breaking Dawn had to maintain a PG-13 rating, and thus couldn’t get as graphic as the book with a highly anticipated wedding/birthing scene. “I would have loved to have been puking up blood,” Stewart told EW. If only she knew how pleasant puking

Hunger Games Movie Finds Prim, Glimmer and Marvel

I have never ever been this excited for a movie. The Hunger Games Movie is going to be freaking awesome and now we are even closer to getting the casting part done. Today, Lionsgate cast Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen and Elizabeth Banks is being considered to play Effie Trinket. Primrose (Prim) is Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) little sister who, at the reaping in District 12, was originally picked to be in the 74th Hunger Games, but Katniss volunteered to go

The Dark Knight Rises adds even more Inception flavor

I hope Andy will forgive me for hijacking his website (he probably forgot I had a username and password) to share this news that makes me very giddy in my nether regions: Warner Bros. officially announced today the addition of two more Inception alumni to the cast of The Dark Knight Rises.   Marion Cotillard will join the cast as Wayne Industries board member and Bruce Wayne gal-pal Miranda Tate, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will portray John Blake, a Gotham City cop

The Hunger Games Movie Adds District 11 Tributes Rue and Thresh

The Hunger Games movie, due in theaters on March 23, 2012, continues to move forward with more casting, this time choosing newcomers Amandla Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi as the tributes from District 11, Rue and Thresh. Fans of the novels vividly remember Rue as the 12 year-old girl Katniss Everdeen befriends in her first trip to the games. Rue could jump from tree-to-tree because she worked in the orchards in District 11, which is how she was able to warn

Superman: Man of Steel Adds General Zod to the Mix

Ever since Zack Snyder was announced as the director for the forthcoming Christopher Nolan-produced Superman re-boot, titled Superman: Man of Steel, I’ve been hearing rumblings about General Zod being the main foe for Supes in this big-screen outing. As you probably know, General Zod was last seen in Superman II, opposite Christopher Reeve and Margo Kidder. He was played in that 1980 sequel by Terrance Stamp (Wanted). Early rumblings had Viggo Mortenson (The Road) tabbed as the frontrunner for Zod,
