Six movies in four years. Each one felt like an event, not an endless slog of movies and streaming shows crammed into the calendar. FIRST STEPS feels like it’s rekindling that magic. Fewer projects, bigger impact.

We also hyped EDDINGTON, one of the year’s absolute best. It’s tense, thoughtful, and yes…it stars Pedro Pascal. Which made us laugh, because is there anything Pedro isn’t in these days? The man is officially America’s BFF, effortlessly bouncing between blockbuster superhero films and prestige dramas like it’s no big deal.
