Box Office Beatdown Proves Most Think Aliens are Stupid

Sorry to The Fourth Kind (which I mostly enjoyed), but when you get schooled by ass-eyes Scrooge, Michael Jackson and a movie about soldiers and goats, I think it’s safe to say most folks think talk of alien abduction is silly. Granted, $12 million at the box office isn’t terrible, but unless TFK can generate some positive word-of-mouth (see: Paranormal Activity), it will die a quick death at the hands of 2012 and The Twilight Saga: New Moon in the

From the WTF Files: Twilight Eclipse Images Hit the Web

And by WTF, I mean what’s the big freakin’ deal? Of course, I am posting them, so that makes me sort of a Twileech, but really these are so nondescript they could be from any one of the three movies. Oh, heavens! Look! It’s Edward and Bella standing in a forest and surely he’s telling her she’ll never see him again or something else ragingly melodramatic. I’m betting Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are just about done with the Twilight

Fresh New Moon Posters for The Twihards

Happy October 1st to all the faithful readers of AATM.com (that’s Andy at The Movies for the uninitiated) and to celebrate this eventful day, I present you with three new posters for November’s release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. To be honest, there’s nothing really special or significant about October 1st, I just thought we could all celebrate, especially considering the snow Mother Nature prematurely crapped on the Valley yesterday. At any rate, click the thumbnail versions below and

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Trailer from the MTV VMAs

The MTV Video Music Awards were televised yesterday, and, as always, the ceremony was quite the self-congratulatory spectacle and bastion of controversy, with the douchebaggery highlight of the evening going to Kanye West, as he confirmed to the world that he is an egocentric, dim-witted, poor-mannered loser when he upstaged Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video winner’s speech. Thankfully, West was booed out of the auditorium and received a glut of negative Tweets about his unsportsmanlike behavior, the best of which

Twilight Corn Maze Proves World on the Brink of Apocalypse

I only have two things to say about the the Twilight-themed corn maze at Black Island Farms in Syracuse, Utah. One,  mazing around Team Jacob and Team Edward corn might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen and a definite sign that Jesus is nanoseconds from torching the earth. Two, I tip my hat to the powers-that-be at Black Island Farms because this is one damn fine marketing idea. The Twihards are going to flock to this like the maze

Trailer Tuesday: The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I didn’t see Bandslam on Friday, so I’m not sure if this is the much-anticipated New Moon trailer the web was abuzz with last week. However, it is a new trailer and Twilight makes women and girls people go crazy, so here it is. I actually like this trailer because I am on Team Jacob. I relate to the guy always labeled as “friend” and always passed over for the taller, paler, douchier guy. At any rate the Abercrombie &

Get your Twilight Fix at Bandslam

If you’re like me you are absolutely dying for the November 20th release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Time can’t move swiftly enough for me to reconnect with Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and to spend a little more time with that hunky, eventually-shafted lycan, Jacob (Taylor Lautner). And when I say I’m absolutely dying to see the sequel to last year’s Twilight, I really mean I’d rather spend two days stapled to my couch watching a marathon

The Twilight Saga: New Moon MTV Teaser

The MTV Movie Awards were tonight and you didn’t miss anything. Between a few funny bits from Andy Samberg, Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) putting his butt crack in Eminem’s face and Megan Fox and Ana Faris serving as visual Viagra, you might have caught this extended clip from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” If you didn’t, you can see it below. My take? The CGI werewolf is lame and I’m also wondering with the emotionality of the Bella/Edward love affair is
